To be Bilingual
Little Danipal is a living proof that, with the vigilance of parents, it is possible to be bilingual from
a tender age. Although Danipal is small and young, he is great and mature in heart and spirit. I’
m proud that he was my pupil for a short period of time during which, according to his parents, I
was able to inspire him and put the spark of love for our language in his mighty heart. Here are
their words:
He developed the love for reading and writing the Assyrian language & poems when you
assumed the responsibility of teaching their class from Rabi Elizabeth. We would never forget
the gift you have given our son. May GOD bless you and your family for your humanity and
creating the love of Assyrianism in our child.
